Gnocchi..Bukan Nookie! Kikikkiki..



I decided to try a new pasta. Been seeing them on the shelves at the supermarket, but never thought of buying them coz its kinda a bit out off our pasta budget. But since Papa miya just gave Mama miya the monthly groceries money, Mama miya saje-saje gatal nak try juga la pasta ni.

Heheheheh..rupa dia cam ulat kan? Suka aja imagine makan ulat ni..Miya pun geli bila i letak kat tangan dia.

Its called Gnocchi. Mama miya tgk Dr House buat makan cam sedap aje.

Memula rebus the gnocchi. Wait for the salt water to boil, then masukkan gnocchi. Then tunggu until air tu mendidih semula, matikan api & tapis kan. Kejap aja rebus dia. Kalau lama sgt nnt lembik.

Then in frying pan, put in a generous amount of butter. Gorengkan pulak the gnocchi. Buat gini so dia ada crispy surface. So tak muak makan byk. Kalau ikut traditional recipe, tak yah goreng dgn butter. But biasa la..Mama miya loves EVIL FOOD.


To serve, just sediakan your favorite pasta sauce. So buat kali ni, I made the traditional hearty beef sauce. Its like Bolognese sauce, but I use daging rebus yg dicarik-carik instead of the usual mince beef.


Yummy Ooooo..Miya pun suka..Tapi mmg la makan sikit pun dah kenyang..maybe coz its soooo tepu. kikikikiki..

cam ulat saguuuuuuuu... mati² ingatkan ulat sagu tadi... ulat sagu masak pasta.. huhuhu.. kat malaysia ada jual ke? hubby i mesti xsanggup makan punya..
